Requests for pre-corrections
Before you inquire individually about exams with our lecturers, please keep in mind that we generally try to finish all corrections promptly. Thus, we can only succeed if you support us by trying to avoid unnecessary requests and thereby all students will benefit.
A pre-correction is possible in exceptional cases:
- application for a scholarship
- application for studies abroad
- if you take your final exam before graduation as bachelor or master
- application to a change study semester or program
The desire to register for the next examination date is explicitly no reason for a pre-correction. Registrations for the next examination date can only happen if the results for all students have been submitted to the examination office.
Student shave to apply for a pre-correction in written form. The relevant offices for the respective examiner can be found under ➨ contact. Please also check information on the chair's website-links there. Your application should state the reason for a pre-correction as well as all necessary documentation (e.g., for an upcoming change of university in case of failure and documented registration dates there) as well as the necessary information, such as name, student identification number, module, and exam title and examiner.
There is no right to receive a pre-correction. A pre-correction is only possible if at the time it is absolutely certain to determine that a candidate has passed the exam or not. Therefore, we would like to ask you to refrain from further inquiries after you have sent us your application.
